Abdulrazaq Diepriye stated this on Saturday in Saudi Arabia during a special prayer organized for the governor and the state after successfully completing the task of Mount Arafat, also known as Mountain of Mercy in South East Mecca as part of this year celebration of Eid-ul-Adha ( Sallah).

The Sole Administrator of the Muslim pilgrims welfare Board also enjoined the Muslim to continuously serve as good ambassadors by adhering strictly to the tenets of Islam.

He reminded Muslims of the essence of Eid-ul-Adha as demonstration of the fear of Allah by Prophet Ibrahim willingness to sacrifice his son in deference to the will of God.

Diepriye noted that imbibing the fear of Allah by all and sundry will guide our activities and make the society better.

While equally challenging political leaders across the country to have the fear of Allah in taking key decisions that will affect the interests of the country and lives of the ordinary people, he singled out the Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminialayi Fubara over his exemplary and people oriented style of governance.

The State’s Sole Administrator thanked Governor Fubara for his support to the state’s Muslims contingent for a successful Hajj, adding that a larger part of the contingent’s supplication at Mount Arafat was dedicated to the growth, development and betterment of Rivers State under the helms of Governor Fubara and to a larger scope, the Nigerian nation as a whole.

The Muslims Community leader further urged the Governor not to be perturbed by unnecessary political distractions but focused on his unparalleled good governance pursuit.

He said Friday’s pronouncement by the Appeal Court was another indication of God’s vested interest in the Governor’s mandate.
