• Says decision is hasty and ridiculous

HRM Eze Prof Edward Eule, the embattled traditional ruler of Azumini autonomous community in Ukwa-East local government area of Abia State, while reacting to the news of his dethronement by Governor Otti said the decision is hasty as the allegations that brought his initial suspension by the government is a case under litigation.

The traditional ruler who ascended the ancient royal stool is an overseas trained academician and a Professor of Norfolk university before he returned home 10yrs ago to lead his people, the ancient Azumini kingdom of Ndoki ethnic nationality in peace and unity.

During a phone interview with Gist reporter, Eze Edward Eule said ” The frivolous allegations against my person and office cannot be substantiated, as there is a pending case on the matter before a court of competent jurisdiction, hence the decision is hasty, uncalled for and ridiculous”. His Royal Majesty Eze Eule vowed to challenge the decision and promise to speak further on the matter at the appropriate time.

It will be recalled that Hon Uzor Nwachukwu, the Abia State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs has announced the approval of the withdrawal of the staff of office and certificate of recognition from Eze Prof Eule by Governor Otti, during a press release without giving cognizance to the pending case on the matter in a court of competent jurisdiction.
