Abua/Odual Declares Support for Good Governance

In a resounding display of solidarity and appreciation, the Simplified Movement Abua/Odual Chapter, alongside the gracious inhabitants of Abua/Odual LGA, have reaffirmed their unwavering support for the commendable governance of His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS. The declaration comes on the heels of Governor Fubara’s recent triumph at the Supreme Court, marking a pivotal moment for the state’s leadership.

Amidst jubilation and expressions of gratitude, leaders and representatives from all thirteen political wards of Abua/Odual, led by Pastor Goodlife Iduoku Ben, convened in a vibrant celebration to honor Governor Fubara’s remarkable achievements within a short span in office. Particularly noteworthy are his strides in revitalizing the Rivers State Civil Service and the inclusive appointment of Abua/Odual natives, including Pastor Goodlife Iduoku Ben, as the Acting Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Service Commission.

Chairing the occasion, Pastor Iduoku emphasized the importance of thanksgiving in attracting divine blessings, underscoring the pivotal role of divine providence in Governor Fubara’s successful tenure thus far. He hailed Governor Fubara as a beacon of peace and unity, lauding his steadfast leadership amidst various challenges.

In a message conveyed by Rt Hon Evans Bipi, representing His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara, assurances were given of continued support for Abua/Odual, with promises of additional appointments and community-oriented projects. The commitment to advancing the welfare and development of the local government area remains steadfast.

The thanksgiving service, held at Abua Central, drew dignitaries including the National Leader of the SIMplified Movement, Rt Hon Evans Bipi, HRH King Temple MacDonald Jamala II JP, O’Lema Odual XIX, and other traditional rulers, clergy, and stalwarts of the Abua/Odual People’s Democratic Party.

The event served not only as a moment of celebration but also as a testament to the enduring spirit of unity and progress within the Abua/Odual community, as they stand firmly behind Governor Fubara’s vision for a better Rivers State.
