MAMA LED A SELFLESS LIFE, GOV. FUBARA DECLARES AT MOTHER IN-LAW’S SERVICE OF SONGS

Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has said late Mrs Adeline Jaja lived a selfless life for humanity.

Gov. Fubara said this on Wednesday while paying tribute to her mother in-law at the Service of Songs held in her honour at St Andrew’s Anglican Church, Mile 1 Diobu, Port Harcourt.

He noted that his late mother in-law was a great and visionary woman who lived on truth and conviction in what she believed.

“Mama was a great woman, She wasn’t a materialistic person. When she believes in you, she’ll be all out for you. She stood for me.
I am pained, just like my own mother, she left at this moment when she would have enjoyed me.

“Mama was devoted to God and the wonders of God. Let me thank everyone, especially the church on behalf of the bereaved family for organizing this in her memory. We will support the church to immortalise her name.”

Giving his address, Vica of the Church, Ven A. A. Ijon- Ama emphasised on the gains of death, stressing that physical departure from earth was not an ultimate end but a passage to higher glory and perfection.

The Vica described the late Adeline Jaja as a committed Christian with a deep sense of hospitality and accommodating spirit.

He further prayed for the repose of the soul of Mrs Jaja and subsequently solicited for the immortalisation of the deceased to keep her good legacies.

Rt. Rev. Innocent Ordu, Anglican Bishop of the Evo Diocese made a special prayer for the bereaved family.
