Tanker Operators Halt Strike

The Nigerian Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO) has called off its one-day-old strike following discussions with the Federal Government.

The strike, which commenced on Monday, led to long queues at petrol stations across the FCT.

However, after a meeting the minister of state for petroleum resources Heineken Lokpobiri as well as other relevant stakeholders, NARTO has suspended its industrial action, bringing relief to motorists and alleviating concerns over fuel shortages.
