President Tinubu Directs Mandatory Recitation of National Pledge After National Anthem

President Bola Tinubu has mandated the compulsory recitation of the National Pledge following the National Anthem at all official and public engagements. During the groundbreaking ceremony of the 3,112 housing-unit Renewed Hope City in Karsana, Abuja, President Tinubu underscored the significance of upholding national values and advancing the nation’s ideals. He emphasized the importance of abiding by established norms and promoting patriotism.

“We have to relaunch it again at this event. The relaunch is about being committed to the values, greatness, and hope of our country. It is our pledge to Nigeria, our country, to be faithful, loyal, and honest,” President Tinubu stated.

He further emphasized the need to serve Nigeria with utmost dedication and strength, citing recent national victories as a testament to the country’s potential. President Tinubu reiterated his confidence in Nigeria’s ability to excel across all sectors, highlighting the importance of unity and collective efforts to uphold the nation’s glory.
