David Oyedepo, the founding Bishop of the Living Faith Church, has stated that seeking the presidency is akin to a demotion for him. Asserting that the Bible has positioned him at the pinnacle of the nation, he emphasized this perspective during the conclusion of Shiloh at the church’s headquarters in Canaan Land, Ota, Ogun State.
Addressing the congregation on the spirit of faith, Bishop Oyedepo expressed, “When I said it will be like demotion if I am called to be Nigeria’s president because I see myself on top of nations from scripture.”
Highlighting the action-oriented nature of the spirit of faith, he added, “The spirit of faith is action-driven, and its strength is your inner man. The day I saw God’s agenda for my life, I moved.”
In a confident projection, Bishop Oyedepo suggested that his divine role goes beyond national borders, stating, “If I go to be with God today, you will be surprised that nations will converge here.”
It is worth noting that Bishop Oyedepo has been visited by presidential candidates during their election campaigns. Additionally, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, credited Oyedepo’s prayers for facilitating her ministerial appointment.Follow us on social media
