The Presidential Election Tribunal sitting in Abuja has declared that no official date has been announced to deliver judgments on the various petitions challenging the electoral victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Following the news speculating on X formerly Twitter that the PEPT has fixed September 16 2023 as judgment date.
The Secretary of the PEPT panel, Barrister Josephine J. Ekperobe clarified when she responded to an enquiry for confirmation.
She said “No date yet.”
The five-man panel of the PEPT led by Justice Haruna Tsammani was inaugurated to preside over petitions challenging the outcome of the 2023 presidential election held in February , where President Tinubu of the APC was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
