PRESIDENT TINUBU FIRES ALL SERVICE CHIEFS.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has fired all of the Service Chiefs appointed by his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari.

On Monday, June 19, 2023, Willie Bassey, the Director of Information, released a statement on behalf of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume.

According to the statement, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, ordered the immediate retirement of all Service Chiefs and the Inspector-General of Police, Advisers, and Comptroller-General of Customs from service, as well as their replacements, with immediate effect.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the immediate retirement of all Service Chiefs and the Inspector-General of Police, Advisers, Comptroller-General of Customs from Service as well as their replacements with immediate effect.
