An Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt has reserved for ruling an application filed by former Rivers State Governor Chubuike Rotimi Amaechi and others to set aside the order of bench warrant issues against them.
Recall that a State High Court in Port Harcourt had on 17th of may issued a bench warrant on Mr Rotimi Amaechi, APC gubernatorial candidate Arc. Tonye Cole, former Commisioner for Energy Mr. Augustine Wokocha and others who were standing trail over failure to appear before the court on criminal charges filed against them by the Rivers State Government.
The three (3) man panel led by Justice Joseph Ikiang reserved ruling on the applications after the parties adopted their final written addresses.
