I am once again tempted to rely on scripture due to its immutable truth as clearly enunciated in Zechariah chapter 8 verse 15 which reflected thus, “So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.”
Certainly, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has a defined purpose deliberately designed to do well for Rivers State and her citizens to have a new experience that will change the narratives. It will be a different story told of a man sent by God to do good to humanity without fear or favour.
This is a clear covenant that apparently aided his victory via the mandate freely given by the people. He is set to exercise authority from that mandate beginning from May 29 when he finally gets empowered through formal inauguration.
He is structuring plans and actions that will definitely announce his government as people oriented. A government that will truly reflect the yearnings and aspirations of the people to build a greater and better Rivers State where there shall be equal opportunities and equal benefits for the entire people.There will be no despair or desperation because the focus is people first, and their hope will begin to manifest with the new era.
This determination will not in any way undermine or interfer with the passion attached to expanding the facilities and infrastructure across the land. It will also not obliterate the legacies already imprinted by his predecessor, but his works will sustain and complement them.
Sir Siminalayi Fubara is a man who understands where to concentrate in pushing for a new development frontier either in form of human capital or in form of physical infrastructure development. Much as these two are critical, Sir Fubara will take them each as priority concerns in line with available resources.
The central goal is that Rivers State must be better and greater than where it has been before the advent of Sir Siminalayi Fubara’s stead as the Executive Governor of Rivers State.
As Gov Wike leaves behind impressionable performance, Sir Siminalayi Fubara is exploiting the great experience as a dependable mentee to reenact the performance in a greater dimension and icing on them a marvel to always behold. By so doing, Rivers State will be adjudged the best and her people most respected, living in peace and harmony.
It is this knowledge that encouraged us to plead with men and women of great value in our dear Rivers State to give Sir Siminalayi Fubara and Prof Ngozi Nma Odu the maximum cooperation to accomplish all that is set out in the consolidation agenda in order to do well in the State.
As you join hands towards achieving these goals, may the reward of consolidation also meet you in peace.
