His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari has terminated the appointment of Dr. Ferdinand Giadom as the Project Coordinator of the ongoing Ogoni Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project.
In a press statement issued by the Federal ministry of Environment on Tuesday 2nd May 2023, Prof Nanibarini Zabbey was appointed the new project coordinator of HYPREP.
Zabbey is a foremost Ogoni hydrobiology expert with extensive experience and background on remediation related activities with bias in bio-monitoring and restoration ecology.
