The All Progressives Congress National Working Commitee has nullified the purported suspension of Hon. Victor Giadom and Hon. Ita Udosen as its South-South Zonal Chairman and secretary respectively.
The NWC in a press statement described the action as unlawful and should be disregarded “The action of the individuals who are also signatories to the statement issued in the name of South-South Zonal Commitee, is without lawful or constitutional authority, therefore a nullity and should be disregarded ” the statement read.
The National in the statement also reiterated that Giadom and Udosen remains the South-South Zonal chairman and secretary of the party respectively.
Recall the South-South Zonal executives of the party had earlier, in a meeting convened at their Port Harcourt office, suspended the zonal chairman and secretary over negligence of office.
