South South Zone of the All Progressive Congresshas suspended Chief Victor Giadom an associate of RT Hon. Chubuike Rotimi Amaechi (Former Minister of Transportation) as the zonal Chairman of the All Progressive Congress.
The party also suspended the zonal secretary Mr Ita Udosen.
The duo were suspended during an extraordinary meeting of the zone convened in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
While appointing the organising secretary; Barr Blessing Agbomere as acting zonal chairman, the zonal executives alleged the former Zonal Chairman, Chief Victor Giadom failed to call for meetings of the zone, and also to make use of the zonal office in Port Harcourt, hence the call for his suspension.
In a statement released by the party, Giadom was also accused of refusing to accept petitions from states that made up the zone among others.
