Abimbola Oyeyemi, the police spokesperson of
Ogun state police command has arrested a suspected member of a “ritualist syndicate” who allegedly specialised in killing and remembering people and one Oyindamola Adeyemi in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun state.
This was released in a statement on Sunday.
When he informed that
the suspect was arrested on Friday at the Ijade-Iloti area of Ijebu-Ode LGA of the state, where offered the police officers who arrested him a N1 million bribe but was rejected.
The suspect was indicted by the earlier arrested members of the syndicate.
Oyeyemi said the suspect is cooperating and making confessions that will be useful in apprehending members of the syndicate.
