Chelsea former coach Hiddink, who coached Lampard during his time as Chelsea interim manager in 2009, said “A more experienced and better prepared Frank Lampard should be made Chelsea permanent manager”.
Lampard was confirmed as the club interim manager following the dismissal of Graham Potter’s due to poor result which kept the team 11th position in the Premier League.
“He had just started his coaching career and now he’s had more experience, he’s more and better prepared. Let him work. I know him and I think he is the right person”, he added.
