It was indeed a robust outing as Rivers State PDP flagged-off its 2023 campaign in grand style at the Felix Obuah Pavilion, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni secretariat Omoku. The arena was filled to the brim with the 17 Wards showing strength and capacity with their numbers.
The atmosphere was charged with the presence of solidarity groups eagerly yearning for the emergence of a youthful governor to consolidate on the developmental initiatives of the NEW Rivers Vision as pioneered by His Excellency Chief Barr Onyeso Ezenwo Wike, the Doyen of infrastructure.
Sir Siminalayi Fubara, having received the royal blessing of the Traditional Ruler of the Ogba people, Oba Nwachukwu Nnam Obi III of Ogba land (Eze Ogba), promised to make ONELGA a Gas Hub when he emerges as the next governor of Rivers State. Given the track record of purposeful ideas and good governance the Peoples Democratic Party has enshrined in Rivers State since the inception of democracy, Sir Sim envisions a landslide victory for all of the party’s candidates in the coming polls. Further, he vowed to continue with and complete all the projects the state government has initiated and embarked on in the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area.
The delighted people of ONELGA overwhelmingly promised to deliver their bulk votes to all PDP Candidates in reciprocating the love and hand of fellowship the Rivers State government has extended to them through the proactive infrastructural development initiatives and the appointment of their sons and daughters into key positions of governance.
According to the Consolidation Team campaign DG, Bro Felix Obuah “ONELGA will be the first LGA to deliver all the PDP Candidates in the coming election.”
