The Governor of Abia state, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has assured the people of Abia South of quality representation.

Dr. Ikpeazu who disclosed this during his Senatorial Campaign in Ukwa East held at Akwete Ndoki Primary School, Ukwa-East Local Government Area (LGA), maintained that the people of Ukwa East deserve more than they are getting at the moment.He explained that the candidates’ selection of the party in the State and Ukwa East in particular is strategic.
The Governor said that his emergence has over the years uncovered many good things in government, assuring that he would bring more dividends from the Senate back to Abia South.

The Governor, who is also a senatorial candidate for Abia South, thanked the people for their sustained support to him and urged them to vote People’s Democratic Party (PDP) massively in the forthcoming polls.Contributing, the PDP State Chairman, Rt. Hon. Asiforo Okere said that Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has done well in the area of human development and empowerment in Ndoki land, adding that they owe him a resounding reward through their votes come 2023 general polls.He said they have good and marketable candidates for the forthcoming elections and urged all to support them to become victorious in the elections .
Fielding questions from newsmen, the Honourable Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Barr. Tony Nwamuo, described Gov. Ikpeazu as the best candidate for Abia South Senatorial District seat in the 2023 general elections, maintaining that the Abia Governor has performed creditably.

He explained that the Governor has lived up to his billings in terms of Human Capital Development and critical infrastructures in Ukwa-East, Ukwa-West and the entire Abia state.Nwamuo who further noted that Gov. Ikpeazu facilitated the appointment of the Vice-Chancellor, Abia state University (ABSU), Uturu, Prof. Maxwell Ogbulu, Ambassador Okey Emuchay as the Secretary General Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Rt. Hon. Alwell Asiforo Okere as Abia PDP chairman, called on Ndoki, Ukwa people and Abians to vote Gov. Ikpeazu for Senate, Prof. Uchenna Ikonne for Abia state Governor, Sir Chris Nkwonta for Ukwa Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Lewis Obianyi for Ukwa-East State Constituency, among other PDP candidates.

Also, the member representing Ukwa East at the State House of Assembly, Hon. Paul Taribo, the PDP candidate for Ukwa Federal House of Representative, Chief Chris Nkwonta, the Ukwa East House of Assembly candidate, Lewis Obianyiassured that PDP would sweep the polls in the general elections.
They maintained that the PDP has always won overwhelmingly in the LGA since 1999 and appreciated the Governor for tackling the intractable electricity challenge that lasted for close to a decade and made life better for their people.In their separate remarks, Rt. Hon. Emeka Stanley, Chief I.N Ahunanya and Mrs. Emmily Herbert said the Governor has done well hence they are solidly behind him and would give all PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections overwhelming support.
Contributing, the Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria, (NYCN), Ukwa-East chapter, Mr. Emmanuel Akparanta, the Chairman Okada Union, Ukwa EastMr. Samuel Nwogu said the Governor has favoured them, and empowered sons and daughters of the area, adding that the candidates that emerged are the Peoples’ choices.
They promised to pay back to the PDP with overwhelming votes.The campaign flag off attracted many dignataries including, the Director General, OKEZIE VICTOR IKPEAZU CAMPAIGN COUNCIL FOR SENATE, Hon.
