It’s now official that six victims of the Edo train terror attack have been rescued by security forces. The attack which according to the Nigeria Police was carried out by “Herdsmen” last week Saturday in Edo State saw over 31 passengers missing.
The Edo train attack is happening barely 10 months after the Kaduna train terrorist attack, were many innocent passengers lost their life’s and dozens were kidnapped and kept in captivity for months before they were released after ransom payments.
According to the Edo State Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Chris Nehikhare assured the families of the government and security forces are combing the bush in search of the victims.
In his words “We are confident that the other victims will be rescued soon as the highly motivated security personnel are in high spirits and have doubled down on the hot chase of the kidnappers.”
