FCT High Court presided by Justice Chizoba Oji has slammed Abdulrasheed Bawa, the incumbent chairman of the Nigeria Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC for contempt of court.
The presiding judge equally ordered that Bawa should be remanded in Kuje Correctional Centre for not complying with an order of court of competent jurisdiction.
This was necessitate by a motion filed by Ojuawo lawyer, R.N.Ojabo in a suit marked : FCT/HC/CR 184/2016. Failure of the EFCC to obey the subsisting order of relinquishing the sum of N40,000,000, and Range Rover seized from the complainant as delivered in a judgement dated November 21,2018.
