The Nigeria Police Force has commenced investigatios following the death of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi, the Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that all members of the singer’s domestic staff are currently in police custody.
Spokesperson of the Lagos state Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin revealed this while speaking to newsmen on Tuesday morning after the rumours of Ifeanyi’s death went viral.
Hyndeyin said preliminary investigation is currently ongoing to unravel what led to the boy’s death “Domestic staff at Davido’a home have been taken to the station to give their own account of what happened. I wouldn’t call that arrest yet.
“If after they all give their own account of what happened and after preliminary investigations, if anyone of them is found culpable, the person will now be placed under arrest”, he said.
Meanwhile, Davido’s foster brother, Emeka Senator, has hinted that the family had earlier received a prophecy about Ifeanyi’s death, but it was taken for granted.
In a post on his Insta-stories, Emeka disclosed that the family had received a warning about the incident — “The revelation was taken for granted” according to him.
