RUSSIA TARGETS UKRAINIAN ENERGY FACILITIES IN A COORDINATED AIR STRIKES ASSAULT

Moscow has intensified missile attacks on Ukraine in recent weeks, claiming reprisal after on Kyiv for bombing a strategic bridge linking Russia with annexed Crimea. Though some of the missiles were intercepted and brought down by anti-aircraft defence, while some hit their target.

Russian forces have continuously pounded energy facilities across the breath and length of Ukraine with anti-ballastic missiles on Monday, resulting to total blackouts and shortage of water supplies in the country, according Ukrainian source.

The explosions shook cities including Kyiv, where local officials said 350,000 apartments were left without electricity, water supplies were affected and mobile phone systems were down in some areas.

According to a senior official in the Ukrainian Presidency ” the Russian terrorist nation have once again launched a massive attack on power system facilities in a number of regions of Ukraine.”
