The police spokesman in Lagos state have commence investigation into the suicide death of a child trafficking suspect, who was in detention at National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) Ikeja GRA, Lagos State.
According to the Intelligence Officer on duty, while she was on a routine check, the suspect was discovered to have hung himself. Based on the report of the officer on duty, detectives have commence investigation to unravel the motive behind the scene. Though
the cause of his action have not been confirm.
The Authorities of NAPTIP have declined comment on the incident, as the corpse is deposited at the Infectious Disease Hospital morgue Yaba for autopsy.
