The Chancellor, Kafancha Catholic Diocese , Rev Fr Emmanuel Okolo have confirmed the kidnapping of Reverend Father Emmanuel Silas of St Charles Catholic Church, Zambina in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State in the early hours of today, at the parish rectory.
The abduction of the priest is happening barely 14 days after Rev Fr Vitus Borogo was killed on his farm at Kujama in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
With the incessant kidnapping and banditry in Kaduna State, it’s been assumed that terrorist have taken over Kaduna State communities, thereby instilling fear and terror on it streets, as church activities are carried out in fear of attacks.
Though the Chancellor have stated their resolved to serve their God in the face of overwhelming intimidation by jihadists.
The only option open to Kaduna Christian Clerics is fervent prayers for divine intervention.
