The Candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the Abua-Odual State Constituency, Hon. Brown Edoghotu Omekwe has hailed the leader of APC in the LGA Hon. Udi Odum on his emergence as minister designate Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Chief Brown in a message released in Port Harcourt by his media aide Wariboko Believing Jr depicted Udi Odum as a credible and steadfast leader who for decades has exemplified the virtues of unalloyed loyalty and support to the Party and its leadership in the State under the Rt Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and has proven to possess the competence, wherewithal, exposure and doggedness to handle the lofty office of Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Hon. Udi is one man you can bank on at any given time if you have his support. For decades he has shown patriotism and an unprecedented level of responsibility towards nation building especially at the grassroot. His recognition and nomination by President Buhari as a Minister is well-deserved and a clear testament of his hardwork and high level of patience”
The former Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor while commending President Buhari for the nomination, expressed confidence in Hon. Udi’s ability to deliver on his core mandate and discharge the duties of his office creditably, noting his tremendous successes during his time as Executive Chairman of Abua Odual Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The leader of APC in Odual Kugbo however thanked the former minister of Transportation and leader of the Party in Rivers State, Rt Hon Chibuike R Amaechi for his immense role in the nomination of Hon. Udi, describing him as a selfless leader whose impact in the lives of sons and daughters of Rivers State is visible even to the blind.
