Ahmed Gulak, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former political adviser to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has been shot dead.
Scheduled to board an 8:30am flight to Abuja when the incident happened, Gulak was reportedly ambushed and shot dead in the early hours of Sunday morning enroute the Sam Mbakwe airport after concluding a visit to the state.
