Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has noted that the hope for a better Nigeria lies with the Peoples Democratic Party as the All Progressives Congress has failed in all its promises to Nigerians.
Speaking during the commisioning of the Aluu-Rumuekini road Governor Wike also
commended the indigenous contracting firm for doing an outstanding job as he promised the commencement of a second road from Aluu to Omagwa in Ikwerre Lga.
Governor Wike who said the Government would continue to work to develop all parts of the state said the Rivers State Government would continue to encourage indigenous firms that peform well by giving them more jobs to execute.
Former Senate President, Ayim Pius who peformed the commisioning said he observed Gov Wike concieves projects aimed at meeting the needs of his people as he noted he is proud to identify with the progress made by Governor Wike.
The 5.8km Rumuekini-Aluu road which was commissioned today provides a convinient link between Obio Akpor and Ikwerre Local Government Areas in Rivers State.
